About Helicoil Tangless Screw Thread Inserts
Helicoil Tangless Inserts have all the characteristics of Helicoil Tanged Inserts but in addition, they eliminate tang break-off and retrieval and are easily adjusted or removed after installation.
Helicoil Tangless Inserts reduce the time required for installation as removal of the tang is not required. Installation requires the use of a special tool designed for tangless inserts that features a head that grips and drives the tangless insert into the hole. The bidirectional design of Helicoil Tangless Inserts eliminates the need to orient each part and saves time in applications that usually require counting of each removed tang.
Helicoil Tangless Inserts come in free funning, screw lock, and tape feed or strip feed forms. They are fully compatible with Kato Tangless Coilthread Inserts.
